To improve your strength it takes repetition. But if a new habit or change in mindset doesn’t happen straight away often people give up!
To create a new habit you also need to get your reps in. Not every workout you do is a good one but you know you must go back and repeat it to get better.
Not every decision you make when trying to create a new habit will be a good one either but your mind is no different to your muscles, it needs repetition to change as well. Keep getting your reps in!
